First Baptist Church of Perryville will be sending a  Construction Mission Team to Joplin, MO on Aug 18-25, 2012 to assist in restoring homes lost or damaged in the wake of the EF5 tornado that struck on May 22, 2011. They will give their report on Sunday, September 2 at 6:30pm. First Baptist Church of Perryville is located one and a half miles east of Rt. 222.

The First Baptist Church of Perryville will have their church picnic on Saturday, August 11 at McCoy’s Farm Pavilion at noon.

Join us for this year’s Vacation Bible School! Dates: June 18-22 Monday – Friday 6:15- 9 P.M. 

From 1 to 5 PM, Saturday, May 19, the First Baptist Church of Perryville will host another free block party/health fair for Perryville families, by Rodgers Tavern near the Susquehanna River.Fun will include a moon bounce, carnival games, and free prizes. Teens will particularly enjoy the rock climbing wall, Guitar Hero contest, and NASCAR Race Car.  D.J. Jay B. will  provide the music.

  April 8th at 6:30 AM – Sunrise Service at Perryville Park (Directions: Take the road beside the Perryville Volunteer Fire House on Rt. 7 back through the woods.  Allow for extra minutes to reach the normal spot close to the point.)

  This is an event designed for fun and fellowship around the dinner table.  Each person or family can choose whether they would like to host six or eight other people at their home for dinner, or be invited to someone else’s home.  Hosts will be notified how many people will be coming, but no one will know exactly who until they arrive.  It’s the best way to meet people, make friends, and keep our church one close family of families. 

The First Baptist Church of Perryville will offer two days of prayer for North American Missions on March 2 & 3.  Prayer guides will be available for your use.  The church will be open from 4-8 PM on Friday and 8 AM – 12 PM on Saturday.  Come when it is convenient.  Leave when you are finished.  Most people enjoy 30 or more minutes in prayer.    A prayer captain will be available at the door to answer any of your questions. 

  Sunday, February 19, following the morning worship service, the fellowship team will provide a Warm-Up Lunch.  Soup and sandwiches will be served.  Please bring a dessert, already sliced, to share.  There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board across from the church office.  Please circle yes or no and how many will attend in your family.  Questions?  See Mitzie Curry.

6:30 PM, on Sunday, January 29, the West Africa Team will give their ministry report. Please join them to see how God answered your prayers.

Sunday school begins at 9:15-10:15am and Worship at 10:30am on News Year’s Day.  There will be no evening activities at the church.
