Construction Mission Team Going to Joplin, MO

First Baptist Church of Perryville will be sending a  Construction Mission Team to Joplin, MO on Aug 18-25, 2012 to assist in restoring homes lost or damaged in the wake of the EF5 tornado that struck on May 22, 2011. They will give their report on Sunday, September 2 at 6:30pm. First Baptist Church of Perryville is located one and a half miles east of Rt. 222.

Block Party & Health Fair

From 1 to 5 PM, Saturday, May 19, the First Baptist Church of Perryville will host another free block party/health fair for Perryville families, by Rodgers Tavern near the Susquehanna River.Fun will include a moon bounce, carnival games, and free prizes. Teens will particularly enjoy the rock climbing wall, Guitar Hero contest, and NASCAR Race Car.  D.J. Jay B. will  provide the music.

“Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner”

  This is an event designed for fun and fellowship around the dinner table.  Each person or family can choose whether they would like to host six or eight other people at their home for dinner, or be invited to someone else’s home.  Hosts will be notified how many people will be coming, but no one will know exactly who until they arrive.  It’s the best way to meet people, make friends, and keep our church one close family of families.

Days of Prayer for North American Missions

The First Baptist Church of Perryville will offer two days of prayer for North American Missions on March 2 & 3.  Prayer guides will be available for your use.  The church will be open from 4-8 PM on Friday and 8 AM – 12 PM on Saturday.  Come when it is convenient.  Leave when you are finished.  Most people enjoy 30 or more minutes in prayer.    A prayer captain will be available at the door to answer any of your questions.
