Children’s Ministry ~ Kids Club

 Kids Club begins Sunday, October 5 and will meet every Sunday at 5:45pm through May.  Kids Club is for ages 4 through 5th grade. The program will include singing, crafts, bible study, personal discipleship, games, and snacks. Grief Share Support Group

This support group features biblical, Christ-centered teaching that focuses on grief topics associated with the death of a loved one. The DVD seminar features nationally respected grief experts and real-life stories of people, followed by a small group discussion about what was viewed. Past participants have related how helpful the information and follow-up discussions were to them. Many grieving people find they are only beginning the work of healing when friends or family have returned to their daily life routines.   The First Baptist Church of Perryville will have their church picnic/pig roast at noon on Saturday, August 9 at McCoy’s Farm Pavilion at noon. Days of Prayer for North American Missions

   The First Baptist Church of Perryville will offer two days of prayer for North American Missions on April 4 & 5. Prayer guides will be available for your use. The church will be open from 4-8 PM on Friday and 8 AM – 12 PM on Saturday. Come when it is convenient. Leave when you are finished. Most people enjoy 30 or more minutes in prayer. A prayer captain will be available at the door to answer any of your questions.

“Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner”

   This is an event designed for fun and fellowship around the dinner table.  Each person or family can choose whether they would like to host six or eight other people at their home for dinner, or be invited to someone else’s home.  Hosts will be notified how many people will be coming, but no one will know exactly who until they arrive.  It’s the best way to meet people, make friends, and keep our church one close family of families.

Beth Moore Bible Study

FBC of Perryville will be holding a Beth Moore study entitled, “Living Beyond Yourself – Exploring the Fruit of the Spirit.”  Join Beth in this study of the fruit of The Holy Spirit as presented in the book of Galatians. This is a video-driven study with a total of 11 sessions, the first being the introduction and the remaining 10 includes viewing the video and discussion.  Member books are also used for the at-home portion of the study which provides 5 days of homework that will provide the opportunity to dig deeper into God’s Word.
