DSC01906.JPG First Baptist Church of Perryville will host We Care Perryville which includes a series of special events and service projects with a free, community Block Party.   We Care Perryville has sent volunteer work crews to meet a variety of community needs. They have helped at senior centers, homes of the elderly, and the Perryville Elementary School with yard care, painting, raking, weeding, cleaning out drains, and weed-eating.

Thanks to many special partners, We Care Perryville will offer lots of free health & dental services and information at our annual Block Party.

DSCN4936.JPGFrom 1 to 5 PM, Saturday, May 19, the First Baptist Church of Perryville will host another free block party for Perryville families, by Rodgers Tavern near the Susquehanna River.

Free fun will include a moon bounce, carnival games, free prizes, and live music. Teens will particularly enjoy the rock climbing wall, and NASCAR Race Car. We encourage the audience to participate in the fun dances such as the Chicken Dance, Electric Slide, Limbo, and others. There will also be  free dental & health screenings. Fire, police, & the health department be on site also.
There is no admission charge. All the food you can eat is FREE. All the games you want to play are FREE. Register for FREE prizes at no charge. Thank you for offering, but donations will again not be accepted at the Block Party. That way the block party remains a free gift from the families of First Baptist Church to their neighbor families!

Questions? Call the church office at 410-642-6865.

On Route 40 go south on Route 222 toward downtown Perryville. Take a right at the stop sign onto Route 7. Look for the Block Party on your right, in the field near Rodger’s Tavern.
