“Building Relationships in a Broken World” Marriage Class

Event Date: January 6, 2019 Time: 9:15am Location: First Baptist Church of Perryville
Address: 4800 West Pulaski Hwy., Perryville, MD 21903

The whole concept of the family is under attack in our society today. Dysfunction abounds and people waste incredible amounts of time pointing fingers and yelling over how to fix the societal problems we are facing. Scripture speaks to these issues, and it speaks clearly. I want to personally invite you to sign up for a Sunday School class beginning on Sunday, January 6th, called “Building Relationships in a Broken World.” Ken McMullen is doing a great job of organizing this class, and there are a roster of roughly 6-7 couples who will be doing the teaching. The class will focus on marriage, but it is so much more than “just a marriage class.” Using the wonderful books The Exemplary Husband and The Excellent Wife, teachers will tackle some of the core, foundational issues that create cracks in relationships. One of the biggest challenges facing relationships today is that many of the problems begin with the person staring back at you in the mirror! For this reason, we will be having men and women meet separately. This will allow men to get together and talk about issues of manhood that are specific to them, while ladies can get together and deal with those specific issues that relate directly to biblical womanhood.
