6 Reasons to Be a Faithful Member of a Local Church
by Paul Tautges
It is our conviction that every Christian should be an active member of a Bible-teaching local church. As believers in Christ, we are members of His body and must discipline ourselves to be actively involved in ministry as a way of life. Steady, Steady, Steady
6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates.

Charles Simeon: Influence that Affects Eternity
On Saturday November 19, 1836, Charles Simeon (1759-1836) was buried in a vault in the world-famous chapel of King’s College, Cambridge, England. Despite wanting a simple ceremony, his funeral was probably the most remarkable the town had seen. Every shop was closed and University lectures were suspended. Clement argues it is far better not to be anxious about money and to be able to give to others. (more…)

Lightweight Star Should Not Exist
by Brian Thomas, M.S. *

According to naturalistic star formation theories, the star shouldn’t exist, since it is missing massive quantities of heavier elements like oxygen, carbon, and iron, as well as lightweight lithium. According to the Bible’s account of star formation, however, the existence of such a star is no puzzle at all. (more…)

Feathers Missing from ‘Feathered Dinosaur’ Display
by Brian Thomas, M.S. *
The Museum of Nature & Science in Dallas is currently running an exhibit called “Chinasaurs” that features dinosaur fossils discovered in China. Some of these fossils supposedly represent transitional species from dinosaurs to birds. But these “feathered dinosaurs” appear to be missing a key feature—namely, the feathers. (more…)
