John Wesley

  The 18th Century minister, John Wesley, was greatly used by God in leading thousands to trust in Christ and in saving England from suffering the revolution that occurred in France. He was also the spark that began Methodism and the Methodist Church. It is thought by many that Wesley is the one who persuaded George Whitefield the value of preaching outdoors to the masses.  Once Whitefield adopted that method of ministry, he became the principle figure God used in what is commonly called the Great Awakening.

Days of Prayer for International Missions

  The First Baptist Church of Perryville will offer two days of prayer for international missions on December 3 & 4.  Prayer guides will be available for your use.  The church will be open from 5-8 PM on Friday and 8 AM-Noon on Saturday.  Come when it is convenient.  Leave when you are finished.  Most people enjoy 30 or more minutes in prayer.  A prayer captain will be available at the door to answer any of your questions.
