What to expect

You should expect people to be dressed in many different ways. Some will have coats and ties. More will not. Some ladies will wear skirts or dresses. Others will wear slacks. Few adults will wear jeans or shorts, but there are no rules against them.

Members of the church are friendly so you will see many people talking before and after worship. There will also be many other visitors just like you. Some will come by themselves. Others will arrive with family or friends.

The worship service will have opportunities to show God how valuable He is to us. Most of the time people sit. Our praise team (vocalists, keyboard, guitars, and drums) will lead us in some singing. At that time most people like to stand. The words are displayed on a large screen in the front of the room.

A leader up front will talk to God for the group (prayer). Members will place gifts of money in a collection bag. There is no need for visitors to participate unless that is something you want to do.

A soloist or one of our choirs or both may sing a special piece. There will be a short message just for children. childrens message.jpg VBS.JPG
Then a speaker, normally the senior pastor, will explain what a passage from the Bible means and suggest current applications.

After worship, many choose to visit with friends or make new friends.  Church leaders are available to get to know you, answer questions, or to pray, as people request.
